Brief:
Costcutter appointed Martin Dawe Brand Design to implement design for a new range of grocery products to sell to Independent retailers. To guarantee meeting critical launch dates, MDBD was involved in both client & supplier briefings, gathering information to complete the packaging.

Solution:
MDBD developed over 500 SKU’s for Costcutter within a year,  which has resulted in the development of the ‘Independent brand’ that will work across a wide product range. MDBD’s in-depth experience of the food industry & management of the project ensured that whatever the format or category, we achieved maximum impact at point of sale.

Results:
Responsible for artwork, packaging, photography and overall branding, the ‘Independent’ brand has been fully developed for Costcutter, each pack being intricately designed for individuality. The unique look & feel of the design has been well received, and has proven a great success with Costcutter’s customers & retailers.
