MDBD have been working with M&S for many years, & were invited to be involved in the implementation of design layout, artwork & imagery for the Simply M&S range.The brief entailed looking at new and existing products, and harmonising the product offer under the new ‘Simply’ branding proposition. MDBD had to create a design solution that worked across approximately 500 SKU’s, and craft a branding idea that would communicate the product values and be instantly recognisable!

The packaging and branding solution was to adopt the ‘Simply’ idea, create a design that mirrored the shopping list, yet clearly highlighted the brand offer of everyday items, competitively priced to give great value for money.

A swift & successful implementation for over 500 sku’s has lead to expansion plans for the range.
